City of Waco offices will be closed on Friday, July 4 for Independence Day.

Details follow concerning some specific services and departments:

· Solid Waste Services will not service collection routes on Friday, July 4. Friday’s routes will be picked up early on Wednesday, July 2. The Cobbs Drive Convenience Center and Landfill will be closed on July 4.

· All Waco-McLennan County Libraries will be closed on Friday, July 4.

· Waco Transit will not run regular service on Independence Day. However, they will be offering free shuttle service from the Ferrell Center parking lot to Heritage Square for those attending 4 th on the Brazos.

· The Cameron Park Zoo and Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum will both be open on the 4 th of July. The Cameron Park Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Texas Ranger Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
